Tech Crew

Application

Fill out the SFP Tech Application and bring it to an audition date.

Fees

Crew members must pay a $5 fee, due on the Full Cast/Parent meeting on Monday January 30, 2023 (6:30pm). Run crew members will receive a black shirt to work backstage. Show T-shirts may be purchased for $15.

All crew aged 10 and up may join the Friday workshops (to be posted online with the calendar).

Pre-Production

Students 10-12 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult to work on building the set on technical days. Construction takes place for 6 or 7 Saturdays during the rehearsal process from 10 am till 3 pm unless otherwise notified.

Requirements:

• Bring a snack or bag lunch.
• Wear sturdy shoes (no sandals or flip-flops).
• Wear clothes that can get paint on them.

Run Crew

Only students at least 12 years old, with director’s approval, may be on the running crew (back stage or in the booth working the lights during the show).

Backstage or Running Crew must attend the last two weeks of rehearsal.
